the Directory, creating a budget, contacting the printer, and
coordinating and verifying each member's entry.

battered women shelter serving Milwaukee's inner city. At the
House, domestic violence victims reside with their families in
a safe and secure environment. In response to Sojourner's
numerous needs for food, clothing, education, and general
support, MYLA created the Sojourner Truth House Committee.
This committee is dedicated to assist the victims of domestic
violence. These victims include the often overlooked children
who reside at the shelter. In an effort to assist these
overlooked victims, MYLA sponsors day trips for the children
to the Milwaukee County Zoo, Marquette University Basketball
games, and play dates at local parks. In addition, MYLA
constructed Sojourner's playground and donates proceeds from
events such as the Barrister's Ball to the shelter.
