The Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association (“MYLA”) performs charitable and educational activities for the Milwaukee community, advances the professional education and welfare of young lawyers, promotes fellowship among themselves and the members of the Bar as a whole, advances the standards of the legal profession and the administration of justice and promotes the general welfare of the community.

This past year MYLA, inter alia:

1.      Completed the Judicial Luncheon Series with the Judge Terence Evans CLE in May and conducted the Bridging the Gap CLE in November.

2.      Organized a well attended Judge’s Night.

3.      Organized several social networking events at Rock Bottom, Carnivore, Monsoon and the Yacht Club.

4.      Co-organized Law Day 2007, organized a trip for the Sojourner Truth House and was a sponsor of the “Walk a Mile” benefit and the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee.
